Built transmissions?

I was just curious what all goes into a built transmission that will be good for street and occasional trip to the drag strip. Right now I am just running a bully dog triple dog with crazy larry, CAI, boost fooler, rokk tech timing sensor, and 5" cat back exhaust (about to be a 6" stack). I know the main thing is billet input and output shafts. When is a Billet flexplate needed? What other things inisde the tranny are upgraded?

What kind of power are you going to be running ? I read on here several posts that 3 disks are pretty harsh, a single is much better depending on what power levels you are looking at.

I still have the stock output and I bought a $160 SFI flexplate instead of an expensive billet one. I also have had a triple disc converter all along my build, with just over 400hp, just over 500hp, upper 500hp, and whatever I am making for power now (650-675hp).

For your application, all you need now is a TC, VB, FP, and Input shaft. You can do more than that now and be ready for more power down the road, or you can wait and have more goodies added later.
