I had mine done a couple of months ago. I got a BD TC and Vb done. After a couple of days I got a P1740 code and engine light. I called my diesel perfprmance shop that installed it and BD Performance. They said it is normal for 05 especially to get this code. It has to do w/ the TC locking up at a different rpm than the stocker. So the truck computer thinks the tc is slipping. Truck and tranny run fine. I also heard it from other people on another forum w/ the same situation as me. Since you have a 07. I don't know if they are prone to throw the code or not.
Someone told me Dave had something in the works to get the code not to throw. Never bothered to call and ask.

I have read many post here saying the updated trannys such as Tc and VB makes the turbo bark. I am not going to add a whole lot of power i tow a bit and just want the best towing experience. probley going to sell the quad race and buy the towing box quads got with pressure only and a smarty or diablo with commander. going to try do get the lift pump same time, then thats it untill christmas and get a nice towing turbo. then put money back for the warranty fund. will i have any real issues with turbo bark?

The barking from the tighter TC isn't as much of a problem as I had expected. You quickly learn how to avoid it. For me it has only happened when I'm into the throttle just enough and then let off just enough right before it shifts. It's a relatively mild bark too...not like letting off all the way while under 40psi of boost or anything.
