From me the answer is no. Sorry, I have to comply with what Bully Dog wants and right now that is no Crazy Larry. However we are in the process of ensuring that we can continue to offer high performance programs for a very long time.

If you can aquire it from someone else......well that's none of Bully Dogs bussiness is it.

Welcome back Buddy!

When is the 4k rpm tune coming out? Will I need a PMT for it?

Sorry to hear about your tragedy.

Good Question. We annouced a SEMA (so the cat is out of the bag) that we will be comming out with custom tuning software for the PMT. This will be available for 6.7L trucks first and then 06-07 5.9L and then 03-05 5.9L.

By custom tuning I mean that you will decide how much timing, duration, pressure, rpm, speed limiter, etc. that you want and then you can program that tune to one of the settings on your PMT. I recommend that anyone looking for the best tuning solution to get a PMT.

I hate time frame questions, but I understand there relevence. So we are shooting for beginig of May with that.

As for the Triple Dog we are still discussing what we will offer.

The Power Pup has not and will not have Crazy Larry.

for the 6.7 pmt I heard you were going to do that and also have heard that there will limits that you can adjust between but you can do special tunes to to further than the normal perameters. Also pdi had a custom tune on there power pup for there 6.7 and it was suppose to be like 160 hp but the regular edge juice hot beat it by along ways are you working on more custom tunes for the power pup on the 6.7 or was that a one time only thing for pdi. And also how to you go about getting these custom test tunes I might be interested to see how much more power I can get with stock turbo, fuel system and stock emmissions on my 6.7.

I anticipate unlocking the extreme tune on the power pup around that same time frame. I had PDI put a PMT on thier 6.7L, and I am still working with them. PM me for more info on tunes.

Personal opinion! I think Bully Dog should offer custom tunes with the triple dog and not just for the PMT. Many of us who have the triple dog/ outlook combo are very happy with the product ,and do not want to shell out $1000 for another programmer. I think if customers will have to do that they will just spend the money on a smarty. I would personally like to stay brand loyal to Bully Dog. Just my personal thoughts.

Nice to see you back. In my opinion this is not the place for different venders to argue. I personally think venders need to keep there comments to themselve unless PM'd. This is a nice civilized forum I would appreciate it if it stays that way. No hard feelings, We all enjoy all the different vender support.

Thank You....

what's the deal with the 6.7L running so rough on the performance tune??? just exactly what is all that freakin noise!!!!!! lol also do you foresee a good smooth program in the future? I'm running the 2.1.3 on my cab & chassis & it's nothing short of worthless to me??? the fueling is way too strong & touchy on the performance setting & the tow doesn't feel as strong as stock???? any ideas??? thanks alot, Dusty

Couldn't agree more. I'm not trying to argue. There is a thread on here that is locked now where Bob said things about me I didn't appreciate. I think the moderators should have deleted the post, but it is still there. So I just wanted to let him know I didn't appreciate it. No hard feelings about your comment though. I agree with it.

I will pass your feelings along. Right now the problem is the new PMT has the required hardware to achieve this new inovation in tuning. It was just something that wasn't even on the table when we designed the Triple Dog.

I do forsee a better program. We are constantly updating our tunes and I will personally work on your problem to see what I can do. There is a V2.1.4 out now you could try. Also could you be more specific about the noise?

Will there be "limitations" to the custom tuning (a minimum and maximum) parameters?????

Can you give us more detailed information about the custom tuning. Sounds like something a lot of us have been waiting a long time to see if we have unlimited capabilities.
