Question Bridgestone dueler A/T revos on national backorder

I ordered the Bridgestone dueler A/T revos 265-70 R17 tires last week.My local dealer said they would be here by Jan 10.The dealer is now telling me they are on national backorder and wil not be available for 3-4 weeks.I checked on www.tirerack.com and they are on BO until jan 27.Does anyone know of a local dealer in Southern Michigan that has these tires in stock. Thanks for any info.coobie

10 ply??

Well then the Firestone Dealers don't know it because I made a trip to Firestone in the past two weeks and they said NO way No can do at 10 ply. I just pulled up the Bridgestone site and under the column for load range it had nothing. I wish they were 10 ply because I know it is soooooooo highly rated.

yeah they are supposed to be 10ply (according to a local place) load E and an awesome tire. I inquired at a couple local places and they all said "good luck". Told me it will probably a couple months before they see any.

Guys, If they are load range E they are 10 ply RATED. Most are only 3 or 4 plys actually. D is 8ply RATED, C is 6 ply RATED. Some tires have C,D, and E in the same tire size so be careful. ks

Guys, Only one size of the 7 different 17 inch tires is ok for our trucks, Tread looks like a bit of a mud and snow sponge. They can't be mud and snow rated. I have the Cooper S/T's below and I had over 12k miles on them when I got to a tread depth of 16/32. They look like a good oem tire. If I was going mostly on road with only the occasional dirt road in good weather they look ok. I don't think I'd wait too long for them and I wouldn't replace the stock tires with them unless the stocks were worn out. I'm not super fussy and I got 60,000 miles towing heavy on the stock goodyears. ks

Bridgestone is still clueless.

Jerry Phipps is our Bridgestone / Firestone Rep for all of the S&S Tire locations in KY and other warehouses we have in neighboring states.
I purchased my '03 March 30th, 2003. I traded in a '00 RAM 2500 Quad Cab CTD 4x4 w/LT285/75R16 Dueler A/T REVO's.....they only had about 6k miles of use when I traded in the truck; I absolutely LOVED them (the dealer that took my truck in on trade, did too). Upon purchasing the '03, I immediately contacted Jerry and told him what a wonderful opportunity Bridgestone would have as far as replacement tires go, for the newer 3rd GEN trucks.....I suggested the OE sizes of LT265/70R17, LT235/80R17, as well as some LT285/70R17's and maybe even some LT305/70R17's. To make a long story short, about 30 or 31 months later, they come out with the REVO's and Destination M/T's in LRE in LT265/70R17. Apparently the Japs have enough tire sales and didn't need the extra revenue....to say they're slow at product development and bringing new tire sizes of existing lines into the market place is an understatement. I've had my LT33X12.50R17 Mastercraft Courser C/T's for about 14 months and have been extremely pleased with them. I guess Bridgestone missed at least one sale....mine.
