Boost Gauge

I'm going to be getting a set of gauges soon and had a question about boost gauges. I can get the boost gauge in the 30, 40, or 60 psi model. Which model is recommended for a stock turbo, with no chip installed...I may add the Quad M3 in the not too far future though. Thanks.

Most guys opt for the 60 psi gauge and I think that is the best option. Especially since you have a newer model; with a chip your boost can hit over 40 easily.

I read a lot of threads here asking for the best place to install the EGT pyro, but where is everyone putting the boost gauge hook-up? With the Banks six-gun, (that was on my truck when I bought it) the boost gauge looks to be controlled electronically through the box itself.

I plan someday to remove the Banks and replace it with something else. Once I do this I will need to install gauges myself and was wondering where the best place for the boost hook-up is.

Some will say banjo bolt into the intake manifold. That is probably going to give the most pertinent info. Others use the intake horn (I did) as that is easy to do. Either spot will suit the purpose.
