what is the purpose of a boost fooler,and do I need one?

 

If you are running a TST it already has a built in boost fooler.

 

Boost Fooler tells your truck computer that you are running at a certain p.s.i so you do not throw a code, but allows your truck to produce more boost from the turbo.

 

will it help out with performance with my bullydog downloader and which brand has the best.I know quadzilla has one but had bad problems with their stuff on my last truck

 

i currently run the SP diesel boost fooler. Some people dislikes their products but have had no problems so far. It gives you about 5 p.s.i extra boost on stock turbo without setting codes. Also dropped egt's about 50* and a little better throttle response. I currently run mine with a Diablo Sport and no problems.

 

Does the Edge J/A have a built in boost fooler?
