Well, I am not that familar with the Powerpuck but, I will tell you what I can.

You can run it.

Whether or not you benefit from it is unknown to me. You have gauges currently so are you seeing more than 32-33psi on a spike with the puck plugged in?

If not then the boost fooler will benefit you. Hook the puck up first and then the boost fooler and go from there..

thanks for the info qzilla. i am hooking it up this weekend so we'll see how it works. i have the puck/predator stack and i'm thinking if i run the stack tow tune along with the 60 HP setting on the puck it may shoot my EGTs too high when pulling heavy. thnaks again for the info.

I would think that the powerpuck would have boost fooling built in? I cannot imagine them connecting to the MAP sensor and not doing it.

If it does not do boost fooling then I would send the puck back. You can stack an XZT module for about the same cost and it has boost fooling built in.

i hooked it up this weekend. the highest spike i saw was between 28 and 30 psi. if i run the puck alone i'm ok, but if run the predator downloader whether its by itself or the stack tunes with the puck, my EGTs go through the roof. i towed my gooseneck today with a total weight of 12,800 lbs. i loaded the tow tune with the puck and everytime its pulling good the temp is up to 1200 real fast. ( i have a post turbo pyro due to a turbo cool down device) no matter what i do the tuner throws the EGTs high real quick.

Well if it will not go over about 30psi then it does not do boost fooling which is sort of silly if you ask me? I guess that is why they are so cheap.

Well, a boost fooler would work great if this is the case. It needs to be plugged in after the power puck.

Or you can switch to a pressure module that does boost fooling ike the XZT or Std module.

Either way will yield the same results for the most part.

ok thanks again for the info. i called diablosport today to see what they have to say. he said 1200 on a post turbo pyro is ok. i'm a little questionable about that, thats cuttin it too close i think. he did say the boost fooler should work but no one has tried it yet with the puck and gotten back to them with results. so i'm going to give it a shot and see what happens. i'll let ya know how it goes. thanks again for all your input.

I know it works really well with just the Predator. There have been quite a few people on here run that combo.

well...it definately works with the puck. i'm getting around 40 psi of boost with the puck on the 60 HP setting. i won't know how it works with the stack till i tow my gooseneck again. when i try it without the puck and in the stack i'll let ya know what i find.

How would you hook up the boost fooler when using the puck & the xzt recon? They both use the map sensor plug now.
So far with the diablo stack I havent seen a huge increase in my EGT's but I havent done any pulling though. Would the boost fooler be worth getting for my setup? Or will it just add another nail in my "stock" coffin?

i'm not sure how that would work if your running someting other than the puck at the MAP sensor. i plugged the boost fooler in after the puck.
