as of now all i have done is an amsoil filter and modded airbox with muffler delete and a quadzilla xzillaraider std box (30 60 100) can i install a boost fooler on with that or does it already do enough fooling i know if i punch it it will hit like 42 psi but the egts will go closs 1500deg so would a boost fooler be a safe idea to lower egts or will it be too much fooling or not work at all

 

if your running 42 psi already, i would say your good for now, until you get a bigger turbo. i think the quad box does boost fooling which is why you are able to get to 42 in the first place. when i was stock all i saw was 26, then with the boost fooler i could get 45

 

The temps are from the small turbo, You definately don't need a boost fooler. 38lbs was the highest I had my stock turbo running at.. Even that boost level there were many people telling me it was outside of the efficiency of that turbo and trouble would be around the corner. Just changed mine out with 89k on her and it was still working just fine. Good luck..

 

what kind of modifications do u have to do on the wastegate to an 03' to run the quadzilla boost fooler.. just wondering
