Boost Elbow with Quad Std.?

Boost Elbow with Quad Std.?
After reading some posts about the Quad Boost Fooler and installation on '03 and '04 trucks needing the boost elbow, I was wondering if the elbow is needed with the Quad Standard module. I was under the impression that the Quad Std. module did "boost fooling" , so would the same apply as to the need for the boost elbow to get the most out of the setup?
