boost in 05 with std Quad box

Anyone out there have a number for the max boost that I should see with the standard 0-30-60-100 quad box, running in a 2005 CTD ? I was hearing numbers around 30-35psi for the '03, but my new ride is an 05 - I'm about to order an EGT/Boost guage. Haven't installed the quad box yet either, but need to get the right gauge first.

I've also heard that the '05 has an 'electronic waste gate'...which presumably Quad has found a way to override...? Anyone know what this is set to?

go for the 0-60 boost gauge, you will need it for the 05 trucks ive seen posts with boosts up to 35-40 psi stock...
not sure on the wastegate question

I've heard 40-44psi max was typical, depending on the load.

On my 04.5 600, electronically controlled wastegate also, Quad XZillaraider Race on 100hp setting would spike to 43-44psi and sustain 42-43psi boost on WOT. A little scary on the stock turbo. Not sure if the 05's have any different turbo boost programming in Dodge computer.

RamWheelsBy4,
Have you had any trouble with your intercooler sides popping off? I've read about the plastic tank ends being a bit flakey... not sure if you have these or not.

Will you be swappin the turbo to get more cool air?

Steve034x4,

The 04.5 600 has metal intercooler ends, so that has not been a problem so far.

I am currently running the HOT Juice/Attitude. Scheduled to have the TC/Trans completely upgraded next week to handle 650-700HP. Plan to stack a pressure box with the HOT Juice on 180hp setting. I assume that this is capable of grenading the stock turbo. Have plans for twins as soon as I get over the TC/Trans hit to the pocket book. Then studs and probably injectors to get where I want the HP. We may look at designing some kind of spray rail to distribute N02 evenly in the intake. Would probably use N02 at the strip.
