boost elbow

i understand what it is and that it keeps wastegate from opening too soon, but not sure what that really means. more power from turbo???? i am wanting to buy one of ebay (only $25), where should i set the boost pressure to? it comes already set at the max of 32psi.
what do you guys think of these boost elbows. thanks

Pretty much.
It will help you get more boost if you add more fuel but with stock fueling you may see minimal or no gains. You could probably put one on along with a boost fooler and get a couple more psi out of the turbo which may give you a bit more power and lower your egts some...
