Got a Bilstein leveling kit (Lorenz), and a buddy of mine, former Caterpillar mehanic, helped me get it on. (Actually I helped him is more like it). Best money I've spent on my truck yet. Rides like a different truck. Got the 6% coils. I didn't realize what junk the front shocks were on these trucks. Feel like I have a different truck now, ride is 10 times better. Very satisfying.

Getting my bilstien 5100's installed next week. CANT wait. These superlift shocks are supercrap lol.
gas powered shocks should be standard on a diesel...

 

I put my Lorenz leveling kit on a couple weeks ago and it is MUCH better. I put Bilstein's on the rear today and it made an even bigger difference than the front in the handling off road. No more of the a$$ end bouncing around like a pogo stick. I agree that the stock shocks are garbage.

I put a Lorenz 5100 kit with the rear mini packs in a couple of weeks ago also. It made a HUGE difference although i could see how running the dual purpose leafs would have been better. The rear still seems a bit harsh but up front its all good. Cant even imagine how much better it would be with some 2.5 shocks all around would have liked to go there but that would eat up my horse power budget.

Just an expression...I'm a 44 year old lawyer with a wife and three kids who spent more than twenty years in the military...I wouldn't know crack if it walked up and bit me on the nose! However, I am aware that it is highly addictive. Just like modifying these trucks.
