Big CP3 more power?

Will an upgraded CP3 make the truck any faster, with all the mods in my sig?
Truck ONLY runs 13.7 now at very best, launching at 25 psi boost.

i need it to be in the 12's what else is needed.

You need to know the rail pressure to know if you are draining the rail if you are than yes.

What is a PDR 66/14? 6000 feet will kill the ET.

I'm guessing Piers Diesel Research 66mm turbo.

You WILL be in the 12's w/ a stage 3 cp3

yeah what SlowSixSpeed said. its a stage 3 turbo, not quite sure on the specifications.

So you recommend a stage 3 CP3?

ordered the RP gauge, will see what rail pressure se will see. What RP should it have to run good?

Ive actually ran better times at high elevation then at low. On a diesel I dont think it makes a whole lot of difference unless your way over fueled.

Have you ever gone WOT up a grade at 7000' in the summer heat? Probably since I see your in CO but still you must feel a difference.

My truck was wayyyy down on power, and was blowing some serious coal for a stock fuel system. It also took forever to spool my silverbullet which would show up at the track.

When I moved here to Vegas a month ago, my truck felt like it gained 50 HP. Moving from 5000' Utah but lower ambient temps to 2200' Vegas with 100*F+, truck still feels like a new animal.

Elevation kills HP!

My pump with your injectors would rock. Last weekend at indy I pegged My rail gauge at 30,000psi on the dyno. This stage 3 can do more than keep up and it's an older pump.

Flux II and Rveo/TNT you have to have big CP3. Dual CP3 is way to go, lot more power on the top end. You can dyno high, but real power you need to maintain high fuel pressure. Oh and fuel only making more power at higher elevation is CRAZY. Power is fuel, air, and ignition and higher elevation is less air.

That's interesting considering the sensor can't read that high.

John's stage 2 will support what you have now. You just have to ask yourself if you will go higher in the future.

To answer your initial question, yes, a modded cp3 will help you out. With the TNT and FLux 1.8s, you can see I am upgrading my stage 1 to a stage 2 because it's needed.
