I had an Industrial Injection Stage 2 pump with the mods in my signature and I recently upgraded to dual pumps...pretty big difference! Keep in mind that not all manufacturers' Stage 2 pumps are equal. Some are "supposedly" better than others. Here are some of my observations,

With just my Stage 2, I could be cruising on the freeway at about 19kpsi and give it full throttle and the rail pressure would drop down to about 14-15kspi for a second or two before making its way up to 23-24kspi. With the dual pumps, when I'm on the freeway cruising at about 19kspi and I give it full throttle, the rail pressure only drops to about 18kspi. It feels like it's instantly there, and without even an added pressure box (or Smarty beta), it goes right up to 24.5kspi and stays there.

I'd say you'd notice quite a difference with just a Stage 2 with the mods you have. If you wanna stick with a single pump and have the latest/greatest, check out FloorIt's Stage 3, people seem to be very happy. Or you could just go straight to dual pumps!

I would like to see some flow numbers with maybe a graph similar to a dyno, reporting requested pressure from the FCA/ECU compared to what pressure is actually being seen. And do it spread out over a time scale to see how long it takes the pump to react. Someone with a data logger could get some good numbers if they had their hands on multiple test pumps and were willing to put in some hours testing and swapping out pumps.

I want to know more about the turbo. What the heck is it. Specs and stuff.

Not all turbos are created equal.

I agree with Don M, is that PDR 66 turbo a cheap Master Power Turbo brand 66 like Piers used to sell? The one good for 425 HP with the weak shaft, or is it some proprietary turbo that PDR cooked up.

Ordered a fp/rp gauge,
also a stage 3 CP3 from II
and some MPI stwins (stocker/s400)

i have no idea about specs on piers' turbo, it costed 1500, and thers a story behind it... im not very convinced with it either!
The exh housing cracked after maybe a thousand miles on it. my friend sent it back to piers to have it rebuilt, and they would charge him (i think) $500, and would give no warranty, while we have had very good luck with HTT's 62/12 another 64/14, and now a SPS62 from II.
Oh yeah and on the PDR turbo's exh housing it says CAT ?!

Did i mention when we drove the truck with the trubo for about 30 miles, after rebuild, i grabbed the shaft tip, and moved it down, and when i turn it, it rubbs the housing, a funny scratching noise. it also looks like its not balanced, while turning it with the hand (cant justify that) but it sure looks like., not to mention it makes strage noises, specially when the turbo barks.

I understand that the rail sensor can only read up to 5 volts or somthin like that Due to the bosch ecm But the Pressure box that was on my truck was wicked. It free revved over 25k. It is the only box of its kind from what I Understand.

Ok but how would it allow you to read pressure over 25k? 5v is 5v.... Doesn't matter how 1 of a kind your pressure box is.

Was that on a pricol gauge?

Yes It was a diprocal gauge. It wasn't mine. It was Sloverado's box that he let me borrow. The Ecm can only read 5 volts but the gauge I believe will read higher(Actual)

Put on the Quadzilla Rail pressure gauge today,
Idle is around 7000 psi
Normal driving around 15000
Mashing the pedal will slowly ramp from 15k till it reaches 20k (at like 3000 rpm)

highest ive seen was 21300 just before shifting, and when it shifts, it goes down to 14000. that was on smarty revo/tnt SW number 7 and 9

reving it in neutral it goes to 23k

How does that sound??

It sounds low,it should just ramp up really hard with the TNT. I make 37PSI with a stock charger, but i'm at 2500ft. A CP3 will definatly help you out.

How does that sound?

Seem kinda low. I have dual pumps now but with about the same setup (Flux 3.3 and Floor It pump) I could still hit over 25500 no problem last year.
