BFGs on Black Rims
BFGs on Black Rims
Finally found a spare set of rims, and put some 315 BFG AT's on them, after removing the chrome stuff and spraying them semi flat black. Wish I couldve found some 37" AT's. After running 37"s for so long, the 35"s just dont do it for me. Atleast now the move to Virginia wont be so bad. What do yall think of my new look?

It's amazing how these trucks make 35" tires look small. I have the same BFG ATs on my truck (Hummer take-offs). They are pretty good but I may want a E rated tire next time. Did your 37" tires fit without rubbing? Definately looks good with the 37s.
I painted the chrome centers. Not a big fan of the shiny stuff. My 37"s only rubbed on the control arms. I'm debating on selling my 37" MTs and just getting some new 37" ATs. So very expensive!
Hey since you asked......
I liked it alot better before.
It isnt the smaller tires, it's the spray paint black wheel's that make your truck look basic and plain. Like a truck you'd find on a job site.
But if you like it then thats all that matters.

Thanks for the input. I do like the way it looks with the black rims, and it will look even better if I can ever afford to get the rockers bedlined and the bumpers replaced with aftermarket items. Im just not used to all that wheel well space! Ha! I still have my aluminum rims with the 37"s, thats why I got another set of rims.

I like the black rims! But, imo, lose the center caps and just run them open.
Also, try some Armor All tire spray on your tires, before you take pics..
It makes them look clean and new!

I have been thinking of doing this as well. Going back to 35s from the 37s. I picked some H2s with decent tread for little money. The thought is to put the 37s on the Jeep and the 35s on the Dodge, then sell the 33s on the Jeep. Selling the 33s with help pay for the axle upgrades.
I am not sure I will like the look of the 35s on the Dodge after the 37s.

I dont think they hurt the power that much. I think I will get the new tires and wheels cleaned up and try them next week. See what I think.
