I had a friend of mine ask me the other day, And cause Im not into dragging my truck, I didnt know how to answer him. I figured this would be the place to ask. My question....What would be the best way to launch a mostly stock truck(only intake and exhaust) to get the best time from stop light to stoplight or the 1/4 mile??? Would you get better times using tow/haul? o/d off? 4x4? 4x2? Just curious. Thanks

 

4x4 boosted launch od on, but its not the best thing for a stock tranny, even with no mods.

 

just dn't do a launch with over 10psi of boost of the line and it will live a long life.

 

Only way to get a good launch is boosted in 4wd just not good on stock tranny. Even staying under 10 psi wont keep you from smokin the TC.

 

I have honestly never had a promblem with the tq until its locked at highway speed and i ease off in it then i chatter it alittle. I notice u are running the cl beta how do u like it. I'm also running it. Is it true that its acutally better then the one they released on there website when they were letting people d/l it???

 

Not sure I never ran the released version but i have heard the same though buddy claims they are the same.

 

What s your egts run are u still stock turbo also whats your rail pressure get up to??? I have scarry larry and pedfile larry just haven't load them to the tripledog yet kind of afraid of breaking sumthing lol
