Best way to Launch a DTT tranny

Ok Im off to the track next weekend providing my truck is painted.<br><br>What is the best way to launch my truck? How much boost, just hold the brakes what is the procedure.

Since you have 2wd.........

start off......stage, hold the brakes try to build 8 to 10lbs of boost and then floor it when you release the brakes on the 2nd yellow (out of 3) and your off. You'll have to play with different boost levels on launch depending on traction.......you might just spin them too much at 10psi.....

Did you ever get your drag comp? I'd be curious to see where your 3/4 shift occurs now RPM wise (at the track).

No drag comp yet still painting! Once its back I have an engine driven pump to put on there from onboard air then I will tinker more with the box and stuff this winter when its away!

With street tires all I can do is 3-4psi off the line.<br>Good luck, and hold the brakes HARD.

Ah not I get it had to read between the lines!<br><br>Ok best way to take off! <br><br>I have a question its all I can do to keep the tires from spinning at 10 PSI should I just hold the brakes harder or will it cause damage?

If you do hold it &quot;harder&quot; and give it more fuel thats when things snap.

That's what I'd do. Start dropping the PSI until you get maybe a little chirp off the line and then it hooks.
