Volant is excellent

i had a volant on my 06 that got totaled and i just bought another one for my 07 i love it ,,the fitment is kinda tight but i think its well worth the money and i added the air scoop that goes to ur fog light so its like a cold air intake according to my truck comp uter in the truck my mileage got better but i dunno how accurate it is and the sound is excellent i reccomended it so my friends and my stepfather now he added the intake to his 06 also

Great poll, doing my muffler next week, intake will be next.
I know AFE's are the most popular but I like the idea of an enclosed Volant or S&B.
Some are now using the closed S&B with the AEM element so you don't have to oil it.

I got a Quad monster air filter and a 1 foot long piece of aluminum tubing to replace the stock plastic silencing one.

Works great and you can hear the turbo sing!

I have the Cool Blue Hose, Amsoil Drop-in, and Cool Power mod to the bottom of the airbox. I just pulled my filter to check it/clean it - hardly any dust/dirt in the filter after 6K miles, looks like new, no dirt on turbo inlet, never pulled down the filterminder at WOT. GREAT filter, GREAT setup. Te best part is NO whining from my dealership just the turbo.

I made my own also. Modified the stock airbox with a 4" drain pipe elbow, replaced the stock baffle tube with 5.5" aluminum tubing.
And just installed the Amsoil Ea drop in filter.
