Best Electronics For Twins
Just picked up an 05- Dodge looking to build a nice daily driver with Compound Turrbochargers, going with either MPI or BD-700R Anyhow wanted to get feed back about the best Programmer / Tuner to Run with them.
I will also consider a stacking One other Box for a total of 2" looking for best performance results for daily driving.
I Ran A Hot Juice with Attitude monitor Stacked with an Edge-EZ on my last 05-Dodge I had just over one year ago , seemed to perform nicely was running a Silver-62--14 with that Truck.
Was considering giving the Smarty a Whirl this time around , perhaps Stacked with an MP8 is it ?
Also along with providing High performance , another primary concern is I am interested in What Set-up will provide the Best /Smoothest Shifting of my
48-RE Goerend ( Automatic Transmission ) This is crtical to me.

Well, for the best performance, I'd have to say Smarty for sure. Stacking MP-8 is good too, but not entirely necessary. Smarty can give the higher pressure just like the mp-8 will, but you have to change and download to do it. The MP-8 advantage is being able to more precisely dial in exactly what you want and do it on the fly and just use it when you need it.
It is the tranny part that is the fly in the ointment. I have a Goerend tranny too, and it is great. However, different Smarty files over time (And I have used most of them) do affect tranny performance. And this differs from truck to truck even with the same file. The 1-2-1-2 or 2-3-2-3 hunt is the main issue. Otherwise it is great. You may, or may not, experience this. Sometimes that has to do with the valve body or just needs the shift enhancer and has nothing to do with smarty at all. I only mention it because it will come or go on me depending on what smarty file I have loaded. And I have a 04... not an 05 like you... lots o' difference in the two.
