bed liners?
Spray in are #1
Spray in are #1 with me but thats my opinion you know what thy say about opinions don't you. But the price is the next thing you have to conceder how much do you need to spend? Price's rang from $300-675 I paid 455. for my 8' bed over the rail and down the end of the bid and tail gate to be down but I deal with this man a lot on other trucks so he gave me a price brake he tells me..
Drop in mess up the paint in the bid and you will have no paint were the Drop Ins rubs your truck raw. Plus Any thing you put back of your truck will slide back forth, Not with spray's in like Line X Hope this helps you Good shopping.

I did a ton of research and chose Line-X...
...and I've been delighted. My non-Line-X friends have also been saying how much nicer it looks and works than their choices (Rhino, Bullhide, one other I can't remember now). Drop-ins aren't even worth considering.
I swear by the Line-X brand. I had it in my Dakota and got my Ram coated within weeks of getting it. For the type of abuse that I put on the bed (atv and ramps in and out all the time), it works perfect. You really would have a hard time damaging this stuff. Not to mention that it looks good. I would really stay away from the do it yourself brands. I have never seen one that looked like even a half way professional job.
I paid like $469 for the Ram. That was under the bed rails but over the tailgate rail. Each dealer will be a little different on price. I called on Rhino lining also. Best price that I could find on that was $400. I figured that for an extra $70, might as well go with a product that I knew worked.
Just my opinion though, I could be wrong. LOL

Line-X all the way.
This is my second truck that was done. Over the rail and tailgate. Drove truck off lot, next stop, my Line-X dealer. It was hard to watch them power sand the bed thou
The Line-X goes on smooth and no buildup. Go look at a Rhino and you will see what I am talking about....ugly!!
I paid $495 down here in FL
Good Luck on your choice.

I don't like line-x for two reasons:
1)Chalks out after awhile when exposed to the sun
2)Is a very hard surface
Re # two: that may not seem like a big deal, we want our liners tuff, right? But I like a liner that is more like rubber, than say, gravel.
I used a vender called Perma-tech. Its not a boutique brand like Line-x that everyone knows, but I can attest to its tuffness. Its a two part product.
A good tech can put it in so it looks right, but an untrained tech can make it look like a DIY job, so if you look into this product make sure to tell them its got to look perfect. Ask to see some actual trucks they have done. Ask who sprayed them.
Anyway, my spray in is thick (1/8th), like rubber, and has stood up to two years of tools, lumber and whatever. Of course after actually using my truck bed for something other than cosmetics the liner does not look "new".
Its worth a look, and it does not chalk. I also like its sound deadening qualities, for my dog.

Line-X.
Line-X on the truck. I think I paid $485 for my QC short bed. I even had my rocker panel rock rails sprayed with it on my jeep. Hit lots of rocks and no chips or dings to date.
