BDDL or Diablo???
Ive been doing some reading and from what im gathering the diablosport predator is a pretty sweet little unit. Ive been wanting a triple dog for a while but now I dont know, the diablo is much cheaper and seems like it may be a better unit. I know that one is a downloader and one is a programmer, but id like to hear from someone who has had both and their opinions or thoughts about which one is better.
If it makes any difference im 6pd and I tow alot.
Thanks in advance guys!

Unless I am a complete idiot, A programmer and a downloader both change the programs in the ECM. A chip is different from from a programmer or downloader because it just alters the signal being sent to the ECM!
I FINALLY received my stacking bundle from Diablo yesterday! I only had time to download a program so being as wise as I am I downloaded the extreme tune. IT is AWESOME. I will have to go back down to the performance tune for 2 reasons. 1. I just put new tires on this morning and they be expensive 2. My stock clutch with 20k miles and never seen over 8k can't handle the power!
It will slip the clutch and break the rear end loose in 6th already rolling 60mph. I am highly impressed.
I have no knowledge of the triple dog but the DIABLO PREDATOR is awesome!

deerefarm, a downloader and a programmer are the same thing, just a different way of saying it. Go with the diablosport. For the dollar hard to beat. The smarty is very good too. but it is more money

im not very familiar with the diablo but heard great things about it but i know with my triple dog with the crazy larry stack its is very wild and crazy. Its hard on the stock clutch and tranny to keep it on that level but on performance stage it has more than enough power

Well I can tell ya from first hand experience that the DiabloSport is WAY better than the BD Power Pup that I was running.
I had the Power Pup set on performance (90HP) stacked with a Dr. Performance Predator module (50HP) & the truck ran good but I would always get a surge while driving, plus if I removed the module & set the BD Power Pup on extreme....then the truck would pop & crack like crazy....run like...
Sold the BD Pup & Dr. Performance module....purchased the DiabloSport stack combination..........
All I can say is WOW......What a difference. The Predator on 160HP by itself is much more smoother power.....and feels stronger than the BD. Plus it fuels throughout the entire RPM range while the BD only seemed to fuel in the mid to upper RPM range.
If I flip on the switch for the Puck along with the Predator set on 160.....then my clutch will slip like rite now...
Anyways......for the money & the smooth power........I'd say go with the DiabloSport product.....

Well on my 03.....the max boost I have seen so far is 29psi and the EGT's have reached 1100.......this is only on the Predator programmer set on 160HP.
Power.....honestly....to me the power seems to come on in the lower RPM's (like around 1000 RPM) and lasts throughout the entire RPM range, of course this is with my 6-speed tranny.
