Did I miss the post in this thread where Banks was bashed? I don't think that pointing out that it doesn't fit well with another product is bashing. But maybe I missed something.......?????????

Will you post your findings after dual cp3 kit installed? How your truck reacts to it. I noticed more power at higher rpm's. But i still have stock injectors.

maybe it was just the way i read it, but the suggestion to 'toss out that Banks thingy' instead of taking a little time to make the set up work (which he was able to do), seemed to be a dig on his high ram. even though there is another mention of a CFM+ failure, i didn't see any posts advising people to toss out their CFM thingies.

Actually, let me rephrase my earlier post:

I know Banks gets bashed for their pricing & advertising policy... because I listen to what other folks have to say about them. Is it true? You tell me - I just report the news...

As far as the CFM thingies, there's been plenty of posts in the past advocating a swift kick to the curb.

well like i said before, there are some Banks products that are overpriced (6 gun) and there are some that can be found for quite a bit cheaper than similar products from other companies.

This one will work just as good as the Banks and has two taped holes on the side.

Not that it matters but my Banks-Technicooler did not work with my PPE kit installed. The regular banks intake horn will work but not the fatter Technicooler intake horn. **this is with the Dodge pump kit, not the kit with the Dmax top pump (I can't speak for those).

I ended up going with an ATS intake horn and used a conversion hose to mate it to the Technicooler intercooler pipe.

By the way the Banks and ATS intake manifolds are pretty nice. I like the ATS the best.

I don't run dual CP3s, but I did dispose of the banks lettering on my high ram. About 5 minutes with a 4 1/2" angle grinder and all was better . Two more hours of scouring, sanding, and painting and it looked muuuuuch better

i know the Banks is fatter than the other horns, but the high ram in my truck looks just like the one that comes with their CAC, but Pourin is saying the one that comes with their CAC is bigger.
