Banks 3rd Gen intercooler installed!
Banks 3rd Gen intercooler installed!
I just installled the 3rd Generation Banks intercooler on my 2005. It also came with the high ram and much larger tubing from the turbo and to the high ram. The intercooler was also larger- 3 in. thick vs. 2in. on the stock. Also taller-the AC condenser has to mount lower on the intercooler. The install went well. I will post pics soon. Thanks Kyle.

I have just put photos in my gallery. It may take a little while to show, but should be soon. I can't tell any difference in performance. I do not even have any modules at this time. It feels like it needs more fuel. For what it's worth,I can not get the truck to blow any black smoke since I installed the cooler. I will be adding all the goodies next week, twins-the whole bit.

Pics are up and look good! The extra thickness looks like it almost doubles the surface area of the stock cooler. It will really be interesting to see how it cools. You did write down "before" numbers, right?
