Just filled up!

Just put 26 gallons in for 545 miles traveled. Pushing the 21 mpg mark. All back and forth to work. Quad race box set on 60 hp with some 100hp passing here and there. Gotta love this truck.

I wish my 05 got 21mpg but with the bddl and TsT at 4 and 4 its hard to get 21 mpg much less 15 mpg.

By the way I have only 2850 miles on it !!

I'm averaging 16mpg with my truck, but I have less than 2000 miles on the ticker. Bone stock right now, but I think the stock 245s and 4.10s are what is hurting me. I can't wait to get some 315s and a mild chip, and to break the engine in

Our DC Metro area stop & go traffic is tough on fuel economy too.

This is true, but I travel the opposite way most traffic is going on Rt 7100 to work, so unless I hit lights I'm cruising 55-60 most of the way.

Shovelhead, where do you live in NOVA? I'm right by Dulles in Reston

Well I can't post any numbers that HIGH, but my last tank averaged 15mpg. This is all city stop and go traffic driving in Houston, TX. This is with 23,000 miles, air intake, high flow muffler, HOT Juice on 80hp and everytime I saw open road I cleaned the carbon off the injectors .

My mileage is creeping up to a point that I am happy with. A tank 6 months ago in same driving would have averaged about 12.5mpg without the Juice.

I think you mean 265's as I have the same truck. I'm still on my first tank and my comp is showing over 18. I hope it's accurate. I can't imagine what the 4.10's must be like as I'm crusing at 2100 @ 70mph. I can't wait to put on some bigger tires, too. I'd love to bring that 2100 down to 1850 or so.

Nope, just checked.... 245s
I think having steel wheels and the ST I got the smallest tires available. I'm running close to 2300rpms @ 70mph

I think my top priority should be new shoes, but I am so tempted to do a mild chip!

245's and 4.10's! I bet you could start off in 4th if you wanted to. You might want to look for some 19" Ricksons.
