On the bright side, I did get 19.4 mpg.... mixed driving.

 

I bet its only going to get worse. 3.85 here today.

 

I gotta get the rust out of my barrels so I can start using Jet A more often...

 

$3.89 here, saw $3.99 a couple weeks back. Have seen as high as $5.20's in the past.

 

$1.22 per liter in Ontario. That's $4.61 per American gallon.

I've been shutting my truck off at long traffic lights and starting it in first gear if I'm no facing uphill. Seems to me really helping the mileage. Feel like a dork though...

I thought I was doing well @ 14 MPG. I guess I have a lot to learn.

14 is the worst I can get, and that was pulling a car on a trailor at 80 from San Diego.

 

I just got 19 mpgs on 1940 miles, mostly city driving. Usually do mostly highway driving, but I have been at home restoring my 1920s home...Mark

 

can't wait for 50 degree weather to hit southeastern pennsylvania so i can run french fry oil (wvo) again.come on spring!

 

It hit 3.89 at Frenchman Valley Co-op here in McCook. Ag Valley in Indianola I didn't see today, but they were 15 cents higher than the Sinclair here a few days ago, and Sinclair was 3.79 today. I did a (peg-leg) burnout leaving, I haven't heard tires squeal on that truck since last fall, before Ag Valley went to a 50/50 fuel blend. Casey's runs blended fuel til mid-April, I hope Ag Valley doesn't.

 

Any suggestions at improving that crappy mileage I'm getting ? It's bone stock from what I can tell.

 

I get ~ 17ish these days, around town...as long as I don't drive like a complete a-hole.

I filled up at $3.69 the other day. $88.50 for the tank...definitely the most I've ever spent on one tank of fuel for anything I've owned.
