Auxiliary Driveshafts

Just remembered I never posted any photos of the ladder bars I made:

This shows detail of the rear mounts for these 84" x 2.375" monsters...

What was I thinking?
They sure control the wheelhop!

Here's detail of the front half:

They're fully adjustable, so I keep them preloaded against the rear axle.

Thanks!

I enjoy repairing, modifying, designing and fabricating machinery/equipment - and vehicles have always been my favorite!

Where did you get your joints? I wish the ones on my desk had the "spacer" built in.

I am very interested.

Have you thought about using Johnny Joints? They are fully rebuildable and seem to take more abuse than heims. Just my opinion. What you have does look good though don't get me wrong.

p.s. oh yeah, I knew I had something worthwhile to say!

... these monster heims can withstand anything short of a nuclear detonation.

(Please don't ask how I know - the Black Helicopters are listening)
