Question Autometer Gauges

Have a friend getting ready to put gauges in his truck.

What do the "Ultra Lite" gauges look like when lit at night? Looked at the Autometer site, and saw nothing.

Thanks,

David

I have the Autometer Ultra-Lites with the green light cover. They are ok at night, I have no problem reading them mounted in the console cubby. They do not match the stock gauges at all though.

Non matching is ok.

We were more worried on whether or not they would be readible at night.

Where mine are installed is probably the hardest place to see them at night. They are fine for me. In the A-pillar, dash pod or window mount they would even be easier to see. You can also remove the light shade cover and they would be even brighter.

anyone using the Cobalt series gauges? Look really nice (at least on their website ), but I havent heard of many people using them. Im sure the price might have something to do w/ it.

you're probably right...

they use to only go to 30psi on boost, but i went to their site and i see now they have 60 psi boost in the cobalt and c2 series..

i also see they have an electric full sweep 30psi fuel pressure gauge in the ultralite series... hmm...

I too have the ultra-lites with green cover and I think it is pretty easy to see at night. I have my boost gauge in the srt a pillar. I wish I would have gotten the
di-procol matching gauges though.

if i had waited to get gauges, and was buying right now, i'd be getting the new isspro's... their pyro matches so much better than the pricol with that white dot on theirs...

They match the stock ones pretty darn good at night too.
