Automatic Running Boards

Does anyone have any experience with the auto. running boards that lower when you open the door and retract when you close them? My wife wants them cause she is short and finds getting into the truck difficult at times and wants me to get tubular steps. But I don't want them on my truck so I told her I'd look into the retractable ones......So to stop rambling, any suggestions? How is installation? Any horror stories?

Just do her side, then you won't get laughed at when your buddies see you using the electric ladder to get in your truck

I got a set they work great family likes them. They work better than any others I have had and are up out of sight when not in use. There is less wear and tear on truck geting in and out.I highly sugest them.

I seen a set get intalled on some 4x4 show on Spike TV a couple weekends ago. They're some expensive boards (obviously). I've seen them priced from $1,200 to $1,700. I've seen powered steps too, and they're priced cheaper than the boards. Myself, I ordered some Westin Signature bars (black). I'm not a big chrome fan (except on my bike) and figured they'd look good considering there's plenty of black trim on my truck. Wife's looking forward to having them on (she's a shorty).
Good luck,
Radman
