Arson III/Bag of Parts????

I am looking at getting one of these kits...but would like some info on which one MIGHT be better.

Left Coast Diesel and I are working on doing comparo dyno runs before and after for which ever kit I choose.

So I would like realworld info from guys who have either one, why did you choose your kit, what were your results, and would you do it again???

Thanks for the info guys!!!

I have the arson 3 kit, no dyno and i added along with the turbo at the same time...what i can say is that it helped with Smarty TnT RP, and i can feel considerable more low end pre boost...given that it can be utilized on an arson stage 3 pump in the future if i so choose, it's a logical incremental step without any risk / loss if you continue to go forward with cp3 mods or not...e.g. i pay $400 less for the stage 3 becasue i can order it without the arson 3 components....i would assume II is the same way....

The arson 2 kit had 3 parts, the arson 3 kit has 4...the 4th part is a internal pressure regulator and is supposed to add considerably more throughput to the cp3....just make sure ii also has the 4th part if you choose to go with them....

Interesting Article:

Good luck in the decision....i'd do it again if i needed too....and please do post dyno's and link to this post if you can.

jgiachino pretty much hit on everything i was gonna say. i run the tnt/r w/ 90hp injectors and the arson III kit has zero problems keeping up. i daily drive tnt/r sw9 tim3 rp2 tq4. i would definitely do this mod again. also, if im not mistaken, the II bag of parts is about the same as the arson II. the arson III flows more

Talked to Shane this morning and he pretty much told me that his kit will help tremendously right where i need it....in the 2000-2700rpm range where my RP suffers the most.

He said that the Arson III shines in this area...so I am very hopefull!!!

I too run DDP 90's and TNT/R and can still make 25.5K at the end of a run...but in the "Grunt" zone my RP falls off to around 13-14K then SLOWLY creeps up to peak pressure at 3200 rpm's.

And yes the Arson III kit has a fourth parts that the BOP doesnt have that is supposed to increase the recovery alot.

Sounds like I will be getting a Arson III!!!

Very interested in this also...I'm going with 120s. I believe it can keep up with these injectors. I know madhat has like 150s running an arson II and its doin good for him.

How long to the cp3 pumps normally last, i have a littel over 100k on my truck, would it be a good idea to get a new pump with the arson componets intaled or just put on the parts on my cp3 pump and go for it?

Is the Bag of Parts are good upgrade for those of use that are still running the stock injectors.......or are aftermarket injectors needed to feel the full performaince of this add-on?

Your stocker should be able to keep up with stock injectors so unless you have low rail pressure now you wont notice much

Yeah, I have no problems. I'm have Don's 2.5's, and with the smarty's adjustable rail pressure, I run 26.5 all the way down the track.
