Anyone try this intake?

Looking for some better intake flow.

Anyone have any experience with this? observations?

seems like that would pick up alot of dirt,water, and snow off road with its placement

Just as a point of clarification.....

The kit only includes the down pipe and a couple of clamps and the gismo that attaached to the bottom of the air box after you drill a hole in it...

I agree...very expensive for something that could be made at home for $15 or less...I even have a few extra clamps I would donate to the project..

is it just me, but the location looks like you would get alot of road mist and dust, I don't know enough about this to have an educated opinion, in the picture it looks the tube has mud splashed on it meaning awfully close for mist and dust, wouldn't that be a problem

They had a article in the last tdr mag, I believe they said they had it on for a yr and hadn't had any problems. They also stated some nice hp\tq gains. I will look for the article when I get a chance...
