Anyone Have A Cobra 75 WX ST CB?
I am looking at the compact Cobra 75 WX ST CB, so I will not have a typical CB 'box' mounted somewhere, taking up space.
Thanks for any and all info.

I have the Cobra 75, all-in-the-mic radio. I like it a lot. Works just as good as any other CB. I have a Wilson 1000 roof mounted antenna. Very good TX-RX. It has a jack for an external speaker if you prefer to use one. No interference with the Dodge electronics.

Would it be a bad idea to get two 4 foot antennas on the bed rails by the cab? I heard the best way to go is a magnetic type on the roof - but I don't really want that...

Thanks i wanted one of these and couldn't find it because i didn't know the model. I just bought one off Ebay for $75.
How do the through the window antenna work? I used to have a AM/FM/ CB all in one antenna on my old truck but was thinking the through the window one might be better.

The through glass antenna's are horrid...They get no reception, and hardly anyone can understand you if they're more than half a mile away. Get a good quality Fiberglass antenna if you don't like the roof mount. I had a Firestik monted on the front fender...where the hood closes.
You can buy a mount, or make your own, just make sure its grounded well to the body.

If you run co-fazed ant's they need to be at least 8' apart for best recieve and transmit. Roof mount is best either per. mount or mag mount. If you do go with a fire stick make sure its grounded good and swrs are in check you'll be fine.
