Antenna Cable
I know CB threads have been beat to death around here ... I have but one simple question. How did the rest of you third genners run your Antenna cables into the cab from the whip to the radio? I want to mount the whip on the front of the bed. Searched 19 pgs. of CB threads but couldnt find much at all on this. Should I use the Cluch hole cover on the fire wall since I have an auto? Is there a plug in the floor somehere that would be of use? Thank you all for any advice you have.

That is basically how I did mine. I put dual antennaes on the front corner stake pockets of my bed. I ran the cable down through the stake hole, under the cab, up the firewall and in through the rubber plug. I would have liked to have found a hole in the rear of the cab to route the cables through, but I didn't find anything that was easy to get to. As it was, the cable from the passenger side stake hole was just long enough to reach. Another foot or two and I would have had to find alternate routes. My truck is a manual, but I think the autos have a rubber plug there also.
Good luck.
Don't forget to set the SWR.
