Antenna coax cable routing -- does this plug come out under the cab?

I've searched quite a bit on here, and keep seeing mention about an unused hole on 5-spd trucks next to the steering column, but I don't see it on my truck; maybe it's for the newer trucks.

I also saw suggested to use the hole for the hood release cable, but I already have fuel, boost, and pyro coming in through that hole. I saw these plugs under the cab, and it would be perfect if I could pop one out. I tried prying with a screwdriver but no go. If they come out, do I just need a bigger screwdriver and BFH?

I'm tempted to just drill a hole in my trans tunnel and seal it up after. I don't see many options here.

Thanks!

Back of the cab would make more sense, but I really don't feel like lifting carpet. I'm thinking trans tunnel will be the way to go, since the CB is right there, and can just exit out instead of running up to the front and all the way back. Grrr, I'm tired of drilling! (Done a lot of drilling for the antenna mounting)

Like...right here! Got to take the stupid thing out again and cut a hole in the carpet to run the cables through, but on the bonus side I can run my power/gnd now through there as well.

Wish I had some grommets here, I'll just use some vac line, should work for now.

I noticed my carpet was damp under there . I think it's from those stupid holes in the floor that were drilled to hold down these rubber floor mats, wonder if anyone elses is like that.

I popped a plug out from underneath my floor mat on the driver's side. I had to use a screwdriver to pry the tangs down and then I used a BFH and beat the tar out of it before it finally popped loose on me. I never replaced the plug and haven't had any problems with water entering the cab or what not and I've driven through many a creeks since then.

Was it this deep?

I think a previous owner thought it would be a good idea to drill holes in the floor, so that these plastic clips could go through a crappy rubber floormat and be held to the carpet. When I get back from my trip in Jan I should pull the whole interior out and give it a good cleaning.

there are some rubber grommets on the truck that are of no use that you can move to replace that plug, if you open your hood and look down by the hood hinges on each side there are 2 round rubber grommets that fit in the oval holes in the floor you can use. I took all of mine out and replaced them with the rubber ones.
