another twins question about oil lines?

Question another twins question about oil lines?

how do you hook up the oil lines for twins? how does that work if you want to do your own set of twins? any pics or ideas?

On the top of your oil filter housing are two brass plugs. Remove one of the plugs and use that to hook an oil line into and run to the turbo. It will use different fittings than your stock oil outlet though.

On mine, I plugged the stock outlet and used both of the top outlets of the filter housing. Made my own lines with 4AN SS line and fittings.

where did the oil drain lines off the bottom of the turbos go?

i thougth there was only one plug in the side of the block.

You have to punch out the freeze plug just aft of the oil filter housing to install the other drain. Typically, the lower (primary) turbo uses the stock oil return drain hole and the upper turbo will utilize the forward plug. Some twin designs will drain both turbos into one drain line, but that is also typically not the best method.
