I have Pro Comp Xterrains on a completely stock suspension and they do not rub except once when I was turning into a parking lot that had a bump then a grade. Here are some pics.

I run the same size tire on my truck(in a Toyo though) on a 17" wheel with a 2" leveling kit and it only rubbed when I had it at a full lock and hit a bump. The rub was very slight though. Now that I lifted it I can curb check at a full lock and it won't rub at tall.
Make sure to post up some pictures when you get everything squared away.

Newguy, The stock backspacing is 6.25 inches, consensus is that 5 and 1/8 is an acceptable backspace while 4.5 is not. Not all 17" rims fit on these trucks. Forged rims tend to fit, cast do not. Rim width is very important for tire wear and performance. Go with the widest rim that meets your two favorite sizes. 35's seem cool now but 285's might be in your future. That is all I know. With proper width and backspace 35's will fit with a 2 or 2.5 inch spacer. ks

Hey PimpRohr, is that the same truck as in your sig? Did you change the badges on the rear? The 03-04's look like your tailgate while the 05-06 just say "heavy duty" on the left side and have a Ram's head emblem underneath the tailgate handle. Just curious. Sorry for the thread highjack, we now return to our regularly scheduled programing.

You're observant. The truck was a dealer demo and had a small ding in the tailgate. I made them fix it before I bought the truck and they ended up robbing the tailgate off another truck they had on the lot to save the sale.
