AirDog 150... where/how did you mount your FP gauge?

Mornin, DTR... Just got a new AD150... Where did you mount your guage tap? Did you use a T fitting to do it?

Plus, I have the AD for an 05, mine's an 04.5... anything I should know?

TIA...

Yes I just used a tee fitting similar to this:

As for the '05 thing, I can't help you.

I got it from Summit, but if you have a local racing shop they should carry that type of thing.

hmmm if you still have the canister mounted wiring harness you should have ordered a early kit...then it would be plug and play.
with the 05 harness you will have to find the FP trigger wire and tap it with the red trigger wire on the AD harness.

I just went to NAPA and pieced together fittings and sealed them. No problems at all, even with it being close to the CP3.

Vulcan sells a fitting that will work for you. With the air dog you put the supply pump line right to the CP3, with the supplied fitting that screws in, then you use a barb fitting into the blue fuel line. Instead of that barbed fitting that comes with it, vulcan sells a 90' fitting with the same barb, but the fitting is tapped for 1/8th pipe. Take the fuel pressure reading at the inlet of the CP3. Its under JIC fittings on there web site, called pushon 90 degree 08 jic fitting tapped, cost 7.99. Its alot for a fitting, but makes the install nice and clean looking. At least you can see the fitting and find it local.

Rip, thanks for the pics... That looks like an isspro isolator and tubing... diesel manor? I like that SS braided line too... did you get that made?

Han, I see what you're saying. I was thinking about doing something like rip did, but closer to where the stock FF canister is now. I am using brass tubing for my FP guage line, and the shorter the better...

No, the ss line came from Diesel manor also, along with the Isspro stuff. Its an option, and i accidentally got the ss kit with the banjo fitting, which i couldn't use.

Here's a link to it.
