Where did you get the clear vinyl hose from? It looks like the clear hose from Lowe's or Home Depot.

This has been quite the thread to read guys. What is your feelings on the return fuel being dumped into the canister for keeping the volume of fuel for the suction being warmer from the returning fuel???

You have a lot of time and work in this project dude, nice work and lots of extra time to wipe hands off well enough to take PIC's of stuff instead of just going with it and putting it all together LOL.

the hose is called "ether hose"..the hose shop I always use and trust told me to try this stuff instead of using the rubbber nitrel(sp?) hose that comes with the airdog...it is a gas hose that is rated for submersion....

I dont think it has any ill effects on the fuel being pumped back up to the cp3.....the fuel that is going to be hot/warm will be the engine return line fuel...but it must not be that bad cause the stock fuel system pumps the engine return fuel back to the canister as well....I thought it might make the airdog run loud since the air it separates would be dropping in the canister..but it does not seem to make it loud at all....actually since it does not suck air at 1/4 tank now..it runs quieter then before at 1/4 tank.

thanks for the comments
I dont have lots of time..but this bugged my bad enough that I had to do something

OK, so what is the consensus on the trigger wire for the 05+?

Will wiring like the supplemental instructions say make a code pop up (relay voltage or something)? The supplemental instructions say to wire the trigger wire to a spare fuse position that is hot when "on".

Also, shouldn't that fuse position be hot when cranking too?!?!?!?

Well if you run your trigger wire to the hot lead it will run just like stock. Have read on here a couple guys had problems doing it the other way. Like when you are just wanting to sit in the rig with the engine off and listen to the tunes the pump would run.

Wait, stock pumps don't run all the time when the key is in the "on" position. Hooking it up to the hot terminal would result in that, correct?

I have heard there is an orange wire I can tap into to make it run like the stock pump. Just trying to find a good, clean place to tap into it. I wish Airdog would make a harness like FASS uses....

Down on the inside of the driverside framerail look inside that black split plastic wire covering it goes from the fuse box under the hood all the way back to the tail lights. There is an orange wire with a red stripe that is the one you splice into. You don't need to cut the wires coming off the top of the intank lift pump. IIRC it said to cut the black one? Just tie into the orange with red stripe it is the hot lead to the factory lift pump.

Is that the green thingy or the silver hootie?

How did those go up into the top of the canister, did you need to drill it or remove something or?

<EDIT>
Also, what is the bigger piece you added to the vulcan draw straw that you used to attach the clear hose? What is it, how is it attached?

Is the zap strap going to deteriorate being submerges in the fuel you think?

how do you mean???
I made the canister flat on top by using a 3M pad on my 90* angle grinder then drill it the same size hole as the grommet...is that what your asking???

I'm guessing you used a green and a silver boss o-ring fitting for the new draw straw and the new AD return, so I'm wondering how you got them through the top of the canister after you ground off the ribs?
Or was there something there from the factory that you unscrewed, the new fittings taking there place?

<EDIT>

Okay, now I see you had to drill the canister to go from this:
