I havnt seen one becouse I dont think that is possible. I say that becouse it takes high freq. to weld aluminum and that uses alot of power. I have several of the Miller maxstar inverter welders, which run on 110 or 220 but they dont offer a setting that will allow you to use high freq. Let me say that they will say high freq. in the books but all that means is that it starts the arc with high freq. I wish I could do that with those maxstars.

If you want to MIG aluminum you can get a spool gun but the weld isnt as pretty (most of the time). You could connect a spool gun to one of the smaller 110 lincoln or miller mig machines maybe.

Thanks chuck, that is only my third time TIG welding aluminium, it's a little tougher then welding mild steel.

I know the guy I got my AFE came off of an 03... So I would think that the 04.5 would fit the 06... 03-06 on mine...

AEM Brute Force. Dryflow filter and lots of whistle. AFE is too pricey for me.

AFE certainly seems to be the most popular, but it IS a LOT more money, is it worth the extra cash?

No, I don't think it is worth it. I would rather do the intake I built.
I built my intake for $85 bucks(mine was cheap because I made my own tubing) and DTR member Dixie Chopper built my same intake with tubing for $140 bucks.(and he used nice t-clamps) That's pretty dang cheap IMO.
Also if you don't like the Amsoil filter you can buy a AFE filter and us that as well!
I have not had a AFE myself so take it for what it's worth.
I'm not bashing the AFE system either that's what I modeled mine after, It's a really nice set-up........

But it's $$$$$$$

I agree with 53 If I would have seen his post I would have probably done that but I traded my Tripledog for it so it only cost my $10.00 in shipping....
