Afe vs. Aem

I can't decide between the Afe Stage 2 Prodry or the Aem Workhorse. Could someone tell me the pros and cons of each. I have tried a search but for some reason I can't search on this website.

Well if you look on the afe vs k&n thread its pretty clear that afe fits the ticket. I think the more $$$$ is worth it.

I bought my AEM workhorse for the simple fact that it came with a bigger/dry filter, I wasn't keen on the metal tube but I really don't believe there is that much of a heat difference,...I may take the tube out though and wrap it with some exhauste tape.

I like my AEM intake, it seems to flow a good amount of air. I don't think you can really go wrong with either. I think the AFE is a better filter but it all depends on how deep your pockets are.

Thanks for the info. I guess it's kind of like comparing apples to apples with this one.

afe stg II prodry

I got the afe prodry and i love it. The worst part was the install. not horrid but not possible in 30 minutes either. The filter flows awsome and sounds great and is easy to clean. got mine from here at the dtr store and was cheaper than anyone else.

I like the AEM cause you don't have to oil it. Cheaper too.
