My vote is for the AFE stage 2 over the K&N. But I have never heard the AEM workhorse, so I can't comment on that one.

I would vote the AFE Stage 2 with the DRY PRO. The workhorse might be the loudest. I own the AEM Bruteforce with the dry filter. The turbo whistle is great but you can really hear the air rushing through the metal tube. That got very annoying quick. The stage 2 has the plastic tube which will quiet the air flow noise. But the turbo is suppose to be pretty loud.

I just installed an AFE System 2 and really don't hear much change in the noise level with no load although I can hear the turbo a little over 22-2300Maybe that will change tomorrow after the AFE cat-back goes in, or under the load of towing my 13,000 lb 5'er. My objective was to lower EGT's when towing and the test of that is still a little time away.

Pull your silencer ring. You'll get a huge difference.

What about Banks Intake?

Has anyone considered the Banks Ram Air intake? They say it flows 62% better than stock but its pricey... around $400! Is this the most flow? Will it make the biggest difference?

Everything that I have read tells me that the Workhorse id the best thing going right now. BUt I haven't tried it yet myself. I plan on ordering one this week though.
I have heard that the K&N is not good though due to the oil you must use on the filter media and potential fouling sensors with it.
