Advice On Shocks

I just purchased an 07 5.9 REAR WHEEL DRIVE 3500 Mega Cab with 245K and it needs some shocks and possibly steering upgrades. To start it needs shocks so I am looking for advice on this matter. I do favor Bilsteins but not sure what item number to get. All the information I find on here is for lifted,4WD trucks and I don't believe it applies to me.There has to be members on here that own REAR WHEEL DRIVE trucks?? Lol Thanks

It is confusing when looking at the data on Bilsteins. I went with the 5100's. Stock suspension. No lift. The bodies are zinc coated to resist the normal corrosion. Excellent shock. The 4700's are essentially the same, but painted bodies.

A friend of mine just installed 5100's on his 2wd 2016. Same shocks as the 4wd. No issues.

I would guess it's the same for you as well. Talk to the folks at Genos Garage.
