Advantage of Stacking Edge Juice and Edge EZ??

Is there a benifit of stacking these two? I know that I am going to get the Edge Juice/Attitude and was thinking of stacking the EZ on top. Any thoughts/ recomendations as to what mods I should have on my truck to run this set up? Thanks

You will need tranny upgrades to even use the Juice at its full potential much less start stacking boxes. Ditch or replace the restrictive stock muffler and do something for the intake to keep the EGTs down.

The Juice w/Attitude for the "600" engines performs timing and duration enhancements. The EZ performs rail pressure enhancement.

Your 48RE won't be your friend for long if you flog it alot on higher settings.

I agree with maynard3, definately get that tranny upgraded with as much Billet as possible. If you put to much power to that 48re it will go bye bye. That's my next upgrade, I am looking at an ATS tranny .

I have that stack on my 03, works great. But anything above 2 on the juice and 1 on the EZ you can just feel the trans crying out for help. I have had it on juice 3 and EZ 2 but it does not go anywhere with the stock trans. I should have my Goerend installed soon and then it'll be fun for sure. I was pretty dissapointed with only the juice box, it had no off idle "snap" but seemed to have okay power above 1500 rpm or so, but when I added the EZ that sure woke things up.

Im planning on an MBRP exhaust and something like the banks tube and a Stage II intake and an ATS Tranny. Will I need to upgrade on the Intercooler at all and what should I use if I do. Thanks

The 04.5 should have metal sides on your intercooler so you should be good 4 a while. I see alot of people with alot more upgrades still runnin the stocker.

If you want to stack, get your tranny done first, run the edge, then get the diablosport predator,, excellent stack. If you are looking for more after that then look at the dr performance predator, (same job as the ez, just does a better job of it). But remember if you want to do pressure, make sure that you have all the supporting guages (fuel pressure, rail pressure, egt, etc) Also remember that you are going to need improvments in your fuel system (fass or gdp, most likely a upgraded cp3) And you will want a good set of injectors to handle the extra rail pressure
