Add Fuel Tank Shield to 3500 4x4?

For some strange reason, if you order a Ram 3500 4x4 Laramie, you can't get the fuel tank shield. It only comes with the Power Wagon or TRX4 packages, although you can get the transfer case shield. I'm not sure why DC thought everyone else didn't need underbody protection.

Anyway, has anyone added the fuel tank shield? If so, can you provide some detail on what you did, such as part numbers, cost, holes that need to be drilled, etc.?

Thanks,

Michael
