? about Juice/EZ stack

Ok before I even start I am well aware of my need for a serious tranny upgrade so no need to head down that path on this thread. From what I've gathered here the Juice and EZ stack fairly well together and after a tranny and fuel system upgrade in the future I was planning on the HOT upgrade and stacking the EZ for a lil pressure. I usually run the Juice on level 2 or 3 and don't flog on it by any means until I save a lot of pennies for the tranny. My question is would I see any benefit in fuel mileage or smoothness of power by stacking an EZ now and only running it on the low setting with the same settings I use now on the Juice. I need Quad's fuel/rail pressure guage as well. I just put on a 5-inch exhaust which I love so far by the way. Thought a slight pressure increase might help mileage and spool the turbo a little quicker. So any input is appreciated. Not sure if its a good idea or if I should wait. I know it would have to involve a fair amount of self-control. Sorry for the length just trying to give as much info as possible right off the bat. Thanks.

I just stacked the ez with the smarty and love it. I run the lowest setting most of the time on the EZ. It gave the truck more bottom and seems to be more responsive everywhere. I tried the ts mp-8 and my truck didnt run as well plus it didnt get rid of the low boost code i have been getting since i put on the sps 62-14. Run the juice on 2 or 3 and the ez on the lower settings and have fun. If you really want to lay down some power get a vb and tc for your 48re and really have some fun!!

I had the Juice/Attitude stacked with and EZ and loved it. This was probably the most user friendly stack of chips I've ever had. With a FASS, and AFE Stage 1 I put down 436 HP. I had this stacked for over a year and a half with no tranny problems, then stacked the EZ with TST for a few thousand miles, then the smarty with that which took the transmission out in 3 days. This was at 45,000 miles. I think with using some common sense that you would be fine for a while.

Try a predator module. They fuel good and stack great with the juice. 3 power levels and your mileage will go up.

Thanks for the input. I am trying to save money for the tranny. When it gets done its getting everything not just the TC and VB. Billet shafts and all. Hence the money issue.

Not bad numbers for not a lot of mods. You have about the same mods that I am planning. I've been leaning towards Goerend for the tranny and Glacier for the fuel system. Do you like the Glacier better than the Fass? How do you like the tranny?

Goerend tranny is the way to go in my opinion. Just my opinion. Dave's warranty absolutely cannot be beat by anyone. My buddy has an 01 with a Goerend the is a daily WORK truck pulling a bunch of weight all day for deliveries around a 60 mile radius with a lot of stop and go. It has 65k on it now in the last year and overdrive just started to shift in/out funny. Dave said bring it up and we will put in a NEW trans no charge as debris may have gone thru his. So he is driving it there (about 7 hours) for a new trans. I just hope there are more company's/ people like Dave Goerend that start HELPING us guys out rather then taking our money once and making excuses for falures so we pay again and again....

I like the Goerend tranny. Very nice guy and the warranty is as described, I was hooked to a sled two weeks after the install and the 2 pieces we decided I didn't need to upgrade decided to let go (output and flexplate). Dave ended up sending me an entire transmission and I went to full billet.

I never really had any problems when I had a FASS, but wanted the ability to tune my fuel pressure when I upgraded my CP3. That and I sold it for more than I paid for it and turned around and bought the Glacier for less than that.

Never tried the EZ, but know a couple guys that weren't impressed with power gains. I have stacked the xzt with Hot Juice and got 475hp, and then went to the mp-8 stacked with Hot Juice and hit 502hp. That was before the injectors in my sig.

If I'm thinking correctly, Omaharam and I would be a pretty good comparison because they would both be on the Floor-it dyno and both would be with 315's

On the MCS dyno which reads over 100 HP off Floor-its I dynoed 509 HP 1083 TQ. Another guy did 526 then went to John's and did 646 with the same setup. Post-turbo is right around 1100 degrees. Not sure what pre-turbo peaked out at.
