A3000 vs A4000???

Im thinking of upgrading turbos in my 05 Dually Auto. Im looking at these two turbos. Im not doing a huge amount of towing...just a 38" boat every weekend in the summer. The A4000 flows only 93 cfm more then the A3000 but the ATS site does not recomend it for towing. You think that I could get away with this turbo or would it be too much? THanks

I think you could go either or. I would go with the 3000 with just those mods. I know Omaharam is using a similar setup with the 3000. If you plan on upgrading considerably more I would go with the 4000.

Thats news to my an I think you are right. Originally the ATS twins were the 2000 and the 5000 but I see now on their website that its the 3000 and 5000 but the description on the actual items are 2000 and 5000...what gives?

Most of them are 3000/5000 now. The only difference between a 2000 and a 3000 is a housing. Kinda like a 62/12 and a 62/14....
