Has anyone ran one? I have been thinking of buying a turbo here latley and got my eye on the A3000, it seems like a pretty good choice for me, as far as towing, spool, and HP rating up to 575. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!!! Thanks guys

i put one on my 06 i did the dual cp3's at the same time , it was done in Denver co. at ats i pulled a 5th wheel 600 miles back with it. looking for mileage only , the wind was blowing bad and could not get good data, but it is going to improve mileage but how much from cp3 and how much from turbo i do not know the 3000 does not have a wast-gate and a fooler box is added i am going to pull the trailer to Washington and back 1,700 miles up install a pdr cam and 1,700 miles back i should get a better idea

 

I have it as the bottomr of my twin setup; I like it a lot! MUCH better than the A2K.

 

I ran one for about 30k miles. It was a great turbo until I got my injectors and then I had surge while towing. It was still great with the truck unloaded. It's not as fast to spool as say a 62/12 or even my dad's 64/65/13ss, but it does a VERY good job of keeping things cool. It will support 600hp.

 

So..... should i go ahead and get one, i wonder what was causing the surging while towing? I doa bit of towing not all the time but i do haul my buddy's pullin truck to pulls through out the summer, i plan on getting injectors too, so i guess that would be a concern!
