810hp on a single 64 - now that would be impressive. I think you'd want to be wearing a flack jacket before you commenced the run.
Your correct, I was reading a little too fast looking for the nitrous in the sig.
Great numbers anyway, I'm jelous.

It goes without saying that a 800+hp truck isn't really designed to tow-- right?

My truck hits 900lb-ft at 2K rpm. This sheet shows that happening 700rpm later-- that's a huge amount for a rev-limited diesel.

But I'm one of those conservative types that hasn't embraced higher RPM yet. I personally don't want to be winding up my truck to 2600+ rpm just to yank a trailer.

I'm not saying there's anything WRONG with this--- just that it's a part of the compromises you make in the name of big HP.

And I don't care who you are-- that's BIG hp! Good job!

Hohn, I tow my 32' camper with mine quite frequently. With a set up identical to one tuns. It's all a matter of opinion. You may not think it tows friendly, I personally think it tows just fine. If one tun is happy with it, and if he is still able to tow his 5th wheel camper on family outings, isn't that all that matters?

Yessir-- absolutely all that matters is HIS satisfaction.

I'd love to have a ride in that truck someday. Maybe he'd let off the loud pedal long enough for me to breathe....

That will still need to be confirmed. I have two egt gauges and one went bad, the second was reading but I never had a chance to look durung the peak run.
I'm hitting the dyno again next week and that will be confirmed. No spray

The first of many runs!
I'm running again Thursday and then off to BD Friday.
Round two I plan to change it up...run different Smarty settings. Between now and then I need to figure out why my pressure is down. I have a data cable wired in the factory harness, I'm wondering if this is causing interuptions?? The logger reads pressure 100 times per second, looking at the graph my pressure was the low from start to finish. 5k more rp pressure should put me into the 850 zone.
At the end of the day this truck drives perfect, for that matter I have no electronics in it right now. Smoke is minimal, but injector rattle is horrible....need to resolve the rp issue.

So have you wound her up on the rollers? Its time dude!

it will take some more time to get things dialed in but once you get the boost , fueling , programming dialed in & get on a good friendly dyno IMO you will be around 850 - 900 hp especially with those sticks in there and the TNT-R

give nathan a call to see if he can offer any help , maybe also ask bob wagner & marco to get involved with the programming , seems like don m already has you covered with the fluxs but won't hurt to get his input as well

onetun your truck is well on it's way, GREAT RESULTS !

You got a preassure box or a tst to play with? My rattle was pretty nasty at first and then I took the smarty off for a day and it was gone. The stock timing on the tnt is nasty. Then I realized I could turn it down and problem solved.

Whoops didn't see that! Looks like it's loosing some fueling in the higher RPM but not that much. Does that hurt much when your on the street? Just wondering if I have the sled behinf me would I be able to get up in the Rpm's. I still might be able to get a few hundered more rpms then the bully dog. I am really anxious to see what people do this year sled pulling with it. I might be able to do a comparison at a couple pulls bully dog vs Smarty.

Hey Ontun,

Trust me....there is more power waiting for you!

Malcolm dynod my Flux 2.5 setup today and he says we just missed 750Hp. I will post the graph tonight.

The funny thing is there is a bit more power to be had!
Here's a few items of note

1) I'm running the smaller Fass pump and it fell on it's face....rail pressure drops below 20k.
2) Malcolm never removed the Smarty de-fueling function (he didn't know my my truck de-fueles badly) or the torque management which would help with the run.
3) The wastegate opens a bit early

I think there is another 20-50hp waiting for a patient tuner.

Looking forward to BD!

Nice,
I think Malcolms dyno is going to read different than a mustang. BD is a tough drum, traction or not.
It should be interesting, one thing for sure it will be good meeting everyone.

BTW...the towing comment...side note.

I too have GREAT joy towing with my truck at ~625-650 hp...all day any weight. The RPMS really have to be at 2k anyways to move enough air to keep that much power cool. It is really just a factor of coolant temps at this point for me. Where can I get a bigger radiator! LOL.
