800 miles on truck, too early for Bully Dog Program?

Looking for some feed-back, The Bully Dog Triple Dog will be in my hands Monday at which point I will have maybe 1,000 miles on my truck. Let's say I take it easy (no crazy larry thoughts), should I wait to install?

It would probably be best to atleast wait till after the break in period, just my $.02.

How long is the break-in period you are referring to?

break in can take 20,000 miles

just put it on. Many people put boxes on before the truck is signed over to them and somehow their trucks run great with 100+k on the ticker

The tripple dog will just help the motor break in.... no need to wait. I have 2k on mine right now and as soon as I can get my hands on a Tripple Dog, it wil have the small program on it.

Go ahead and roast her .... your probably only going to keep the truck for a couple years anyway...it'll last that long probably. I waited until about 30k and I put on a duration and timing box....no pressure and maybe some of the TDOG don't have pressure. Just remember DC is getting smarter as the explosion in diesel hot rodding is getting revved up. Don't be surprised and get all sookey if they cancel your warranty on everything but the electric seats, windows, and wipers. You play you pay. ks
