Lost Lake:
I have already commented some on the aftermarket diesel transmissions in this thread. FWIW, ALL of the companies have had issues with their units.
As I also said, I have had ATS Transmissions in three of my Dodge CTD Trucks and have had EXCELLENT service from them! My 1996 Dodge CTD has close to 900 H.P. and runs low to mid eleven second 1/4 mile times. I go to alot of races and dyno events all across the U.S. with that truck as well my 2006. My friend here, Big Swole can attest to that as he and I have attended many of these events together. Also, the fastest 4WD Pro-Street Truck in the U.S., namely, Dale Smith's maroon 2001 Dodge CTD runs a fully built ATS Tranny and recently set another NHRDA Record running a blistering
8.93@154 MPH in Virginia. Anyone that has seen that truck run KNOWS how awesome it is. So, each and every one of us has to choose what they need for THEIR Dodge Diesel Pickups, but I can tell you without a doubt that ATS builds an excellent unit regardless of what some "disgruntled" members here have said!
IMO, this thread has pretty much "run it's course" and since it appears is turning into an ATS bashing thread, this one is DONE!
