Tough if you get a flat and no matching spare.
I've got 35's and need to get a used one in case. A 35 will fit under there.
My dad taught me to never sweep the steering to it's limit.
I guess that's why I haven't seen any rubbing on mine.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
When I switched to 317's on my truck they would rub slightly on the control arms, so I bonded a small spacer to the steering stops and that stopped the problem. Yes, technically it cut back slightly on the turning radius, but I never noticed any problem. That was years ago, so my memory is faded, but seem to remember that the spacers were about 3/32" thick.
In time, even using good epoxy, the spacers fell off, so drilled and tapped the stops and installed a very short 1/4" bolt using Loctite. 3/16" would probably work too. Then I ground the head down until the tires just barely cleared the control arms. No more problems since then.
